The episode starts with a good ole fashioned intervention! The roommates are sick of Ashton and her ex’s drama. Its interfering with their drinking y’all! Hunter, who loves him some 4th of July, thinks that Ashton needs to embrace Independence Day and become independent from the douche. Ashton starts crying while she is explaining all of her ex’s problems. I think she skipped the part where she adds drama to his life. All the roommates tell her she is embarrassing herself by always being on the phone with him. Duke looks so awkward as Ashton starts with the waterworks. Ashton is convinced she is the only one that can save him. #SideEye. Bradley points out her ex’s cheating ways. Honestly, I like Ashton but this sh*t is annoying! Then Ashton call her ex to tell him that she is no longer going to talk to him anymore. All the roommates cheer because it’s now drinking time! Then Bradley decides to hug Ashton for a looong time. Raven looks like she is ready to stab her.
The crew heads out to go camping and ring in the 4th of July. Hunter looks like he is in heaven! Woods, 4th of July, and some beer! Wohoo! The roommates check out where they were sleeping and Bradley is excited for the big beds. Watch out Raven – he is coming for you! The roommates then go tubing in the creek. Bradley and Raven decide to separate themselves and have some quiet time while tubing, So of course, Ashton acts like a 13-year-old by shouting at them to get their attention. Girl you are looking desperate. Ashton is looking like a green monster and Raven is having enough.
Back at the lake house, Raven and Bradley start hooking up. That leads to Ashton listening in (creepy) and all the roommates talking about it. Raven seems annoyed that everyone is in her business.
The roommates then head to the bonfire. Hunter is excited to celebrate the 4th of July like “true American”. Hunter needs to be the poster boy of the 4th of July. The girls start dancing and Ashton starts getting drunk. Ashton starts twerking and Bradley can’t keep his eyes off of her. Raven get pissed and flings a cigarette in his face. Raven decides to drink away her anger – oh this is going to end well. Damn you Bradley! Did you have to ruin Hunter’s 4th of July party???? Ashton then moves her twerking body closer to Raven and Bradley. Man, this girl is thirsty tonight. Raven looks like she is thinking of all the different ways she can murder Ashton. Raven decides that its time for her to go.
Bradley calls a cab for him and Raven. He is not looking forward to heading home and not getting any. Of course Ashton sees this and chases after them. Oh god. Ashton then decides to join them in the van. Ashton talks about how much fun she had and Raven sneers that she should have stayed there. Then Raven starts mumbling curse words to Ashton. Raven starts threatening to kick Ashton’s a**. Of course, Ashton just keeps poking the bear. Bradley starts telling Ashton to just zip it. The girls keeping going back and forth and Bradley soon realizes he is going to be in a lot of trouble soon. Raven throws water on Ashton and kicks her. Ashton starts going after her. Bradley is stuck in the van with flying fists and legs. They all get out of the van and head in separate directions.
Back at the bonfire, the roommates are having fun. Karynda goes swimming in the mud pit. Duke looks like he is in heaven. Hunter starts dancing when the fireworks start. America! Tommy is so drunk and starts peeing on cars.
Outside, Bradley and Ashton talk about the drama. Bradley acknowledges that Raven started it but he tells Ashton that she kept feeding into it. Ashton starts crying about her always being attacked by Raven. Raven goes to the window and eavesdrop on the conversation. She is pissed and heads out to confront them. They go back and forth about fakeness and jealousy (yawn). Then Raven lunges and punches Ashton in the throat. Raven is forced inside where she grabs some milk and dumps it on all of Ashton’s stuff. Ashton discovers that Raven poured milk all over her stuff. Magan thinks Ashton should mess Raven’s face up.
The next morning, Bradley tells Raven that she was a “b*tch” to Ashton. Raven decides to wash Ashton’s clothes. Raven apologizes to Ashton for dumping milk on her stuff. Raven shares that she was annoyed that Bradley was talking to Ashton and not her in the cab. The girls make up (kind of) and head back inside.
The roommates leave the lake house and return to the house. Magan hops on the phone and calls Chip. Girl needs to get laid! Chip shows up and takes Magan out on a date.
Meanwhile. the roommates decide to go bowling. They hope to have a chill, drama-free night. Uh huh sure. Bradley thinks this is the perfect opportunity to prove to everyone else that he is a douchebag – oh whoops – he said to show he is better than everyone else. He sure is a cocky one. And his ball ends up in the gutter.
Raven gets bored and decides its time to get wasted! Bradley and some random stranger decide to play pool. Rando starts smack talking to Bradley. But honestly, wouldn’t you? They bet 50 cents on each game of pool. The dump out their quarters on a table. Apparently, Rando thinks all the quarters are his. I don’t know – he is drunk. He walks away all pissed. Raven happily takes all those quarters! Way to hustle girl. Karynda decides to be nice and return some of his quarters. But drunk Rando goes over there pissed off and ready to throw down. Honestly its just $2.50. Calm Down! Karynda is impressed at Bradley’s composure. Side note: I am feeling Raven’s look tonight! Ashton tells Rando to leave and he starts cursing at her. Bad move skinny Rando. Bradley has had enough of this guy disrespecting the women. Bradley just throws one punch and the guy is knocked out on the floor.
